Details

Steps: Reply to a message. I use the plaintext editor, but don't know if that's relevant. Highlight some quoted text and copy it to the clipboard (Ctrl+C or Edit/Copy). Open some other text editor (e.g. notepad) and paste. You'll get the same text you copied plus two carriage returns. Hm, I notice now the same thing happens if you copy text from a mail message in the main mailnews window. Currently using 2001092403-win32-installer on Windows 2000, but I've been seeing this for a while (a month or more). Figured someone must have opened a bug, but couldn't find one.
