Steps to reproduce:

Select a specific message (always reproducable for the same messages) in the list of e-mails. Have the preview pane enabled.

I will try and extract the messages causing this crash.


Actual results:

Thunderbird crashes and shows "*** stack smashing detected ***"


Expected results:

No crash

I extracted one of the messages causing this crash. However if I open it through File > Open > Saved e-mail, it does display without crashing.
