Works for me on latest nightly.
BTW:Using Ubuntu 14.04(Desktop-64bit).
Hi, I wasn't able to reproduce it on Nightly 32.0a1 (2014-05-28) on Debian Linux x86_64 and on Windows 7 x86_64. Reporter: have you checked that your preferences (about:preferences) are to not show pop-up windows, and that there are no exception for that site on your preferences? (You can check it via: about:preferences in the "Contents" tab, click on the "Exception" button and verify that there are no websites listed) Could you please try with a clean profile (see here how to create one: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_Manager)? And also in Safe Mode (Help → Restart with Addons Disabled)? Thanks, Francesca

2014-05-30-00-40-01-mozilla-aurora-firefox-31.0a2.en-US.linux-x86_64 shows no trace of popup at all. Hovering over the thumbnails further down the page shows window-like tooltips though, but they are not popups.

I tested with Aurora on Mac OS and with safari. I saw no popup...
I cannot reproduce this bug using Windows 7 64 bit (es-AR) and Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:31.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/31.0. I cannot reproduce it using latest Nightly either, so it works for me. I don't have the WORKSFORME option in the bug's Status options, that's why I haven't changed it's state.

I wasn't able to reproduce this in 31.0a2 (2014-05-30) on MacOSX 10.8.5 or Windows 7.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:31.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/31.0 Couldn't reproduce the issue on latest Aurora 2014-06-10 under Win XP. Please make sure you have an antivirus installed. Marking as RWFM, please re-open adding more details if it reoccurs after following the steps from comment 3.
