From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:0.9.4) Gecko/20010913 BuildID: 2001091303 When spawning mozilla from an external application (e.g. Eudora) Mozilla does not render the requested page but opens a new window both rendering the preconfigured home page. This bug only happens when Mozilla is already opened. In case Mozilla is closed, the first request from an external application is handled correctly. However in this case Mozilla opens two windows - one showing the preconfigured home page - one showing the requested link. I guess this has been already addressed. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open Mozilla 2.Open external application (e.g. Eudora) 3.Request an URL through the external application (e.g. Click on a link embedded in an email received by Eudora) Actual Results: See description Expected Results: Requesting and rendering the link handed over by the external application.

Summary: page requested from external application is not requested → page requested from external application is not requested in spawned browser window
Marking WFM 2001101909 on Win2k (w/ Eudora as well). Reporter: Please try a more recent build: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/nightly/latest/mozilla-win32-talkback.zip (as always, be sure to delete your old Mozilla directory before installing the new one) I would also recommend trying a fresh profile (that's what fixed the problem for me). You can manage/create profiles with "mozilla.exe -profilemanager". -> XP Apps
