 A.- Overview Description (technical background, concise explanation of the bug):
 After opening messaging app to write a SMS, or email app to write a new email, there is no way to change portrait view to landscape view.          ________________________________________________________________________________
     B.- Steps to Reproduce (initial conditions, required resources, step by step instructions to reproduce):
 Open the SMS app and check if this application can show the messages in landscape view, or write a SMS in landspace view.
 Open the email app and ctry to compose a new email in landscape view.

     C.- Actual Result (current bad behaviour that is reported as a bug):
 Messaging or email app cannot be used in landspace view.            ________________________________________________________________________________
     D.- Expected Result (correct behaviour wished):
 It should be possible to use Messaging or email app in landspace view. This way the user experience when composing an SMS or email would improve (better user experience with current touch panel behaviour).

 However, other apps like browser allows you to switch from portrait to landscape and viceversa.

Hi Vance,
As far as I know, I haven't heard the plan to support landscape in the near releases.

Hi Vance,
Juwei is right, when we start to work on Firefox OS, we didn't have this feature. As far as I know, it's not in any backlog or plan in the future. However, the only thing I can be sure is that we will have both landscape and portrait view in tablet. As to phone, I suggest you talk with product managers first. Thakn you.
