Since the translation project began, work has also been moving along on the Chameleon project. That means that the initial styling proposed for Mac needs to be changed and a new spec must be generated.

Okay, so the issue here is that the Chameleon design may not be far enough along to warrant changing the styling of the Translation infobar. There are some accessibility issues (focus rings), and in general there are a lot of conflicting styles going on that need to be resolved (Bug 1016045).
Decision has been made. Will not be proceeding with Chameleon skin, and will instead continue with the work Mano has done in Bug 988480.
