User has Marketplace open then goes to e.me search field and enters Lanyrd to search. When search results appear in the Marketplace downloads section of homescreen and user selects
Prerequisites:
1. User opens Marketplace App
Repro Steps:
1) Update a Flame to BuildID: 20140527040202
2) Tap in e.me search bar and type lanyrd
3) Await Marketplace downloads and the Lanyrd downloads apps and tap Lanyrd
4) Observe device behavior
Actual:
Last Marketplace screen viewed during Prerequisites displays momentarily (about a second) before screen transitions to Lanyrd Marketplace page.
Expected:
Lanyrd Marketplace page appears without a transition page appearing first.

This bug is flirting with wontfix but we're leaving open to get some recommendations from people more familiar with web activities. I don't think there is a lot of opportunity to show anything other than the page that was last seen on Marketplace. Is there a recommended strategy here?
I'm going to ask :kgrandon and CC fwenzel - I'm not sure who would have the best advice here.

To be honest, I don't know the details off the top of my head, so I'm going to forward the ni? to alive if that's ok. My assumption was that we could use a different path for the activity, but perhaps that's incorrect.

I don't understand why this is a bug.
But if you really don't want to re-use the existing marketplace app, try to tell them to support inline activity - that means, change disposition: inline in their manifest. But some side effects may happen.

I think I can agree with Wil's comments that this is a WONTFIX.

No test case written. Not a valid test case. No need to rewrite steps.

This test case is not valid since inline activity needs to be supported (currently it is not) if a user doesn't want to re-use the existing marketplace app.

John, please don't leave unnecessary comments on issues.
There is not a in-moztrap? flag for the marketplace component. We are writing this up as an issue.
Marking this as in-moztrap- since this is a won't fix.
