The issue doesn't occur when I use one of the stock wallpapers.

Adding qawanted to verify this doesn't happen on 1.4.

It's also probably worthwhile to see if this happens on the vertical homescreen.

I am unable to reproduce this issue with the provided STRs in comment #0. With the provided STRs in the duped bug 1021857 I am able to reproduce the issue 100%. NI-ing JSmith, should I continue forward with the regressionwindow-wanted using bug 1021857#c0 STRs, or can more information be provided for this issue please?

The screenshot doesn't show e.me, just the search bar. Kevin, do you know what might have caused this?

This seems different than bug 1021857 to me. Bug 1021857 is likely due to system z-indexing issues. This one looks more like the horizontal homescreen search bar. I would probably just leave this one alone for now as our plan is to ship the vertical homescreen, and reopen bug 1021857 for the fix for the vertical homescreen.

Ok - I'll reopen the other bug then.

Closing this one since it doesn't reproduce with the vertical homescreen.
