Details

CompareVersion is not implemented.  This is needed for feature complete.  This
also blocks the feature complete of the Software Notifier.

From our phone call it sounds like you're working on this.
I have made numberous bug fixes which might cause some of these bugs to go away.
 I am going to mark them as FIXED so that they may be verified.

This bug is similar to Bug 9743.  See this bug for specific jar file used.  Both
Windows and Macintosh are behaving as expected for this specific test.  Linux is
failing.  The Install.log shows:

Adding [PP] to Summary since it is now platform specific.  Also, OS has been
changed from All to Linux.  Bug 9743 will be marked Verified when this bug is
marked Verified.
