We're going to be directing traffic to our Unbounce landing pages with Referrer IDs in the URL, like ref=snippet, ref=mozilla.org and so on.

Unbounce landing pages are very flexible, but not strongly templated, so each time we build a new page we need to include some code that will implement the necessary tracking.

To avoid lots of maintenance across these pages, perhaps we could setup and host a single JS file that checks for and sets the necessary cookie. Then this JS file could be included in each new landing page.

Info on the tracking and Cade's cookie library here: Bug 1015092

@Jbuck/Cade, does that sound like a sensible way to do this?

(Here's some info on how the JS is added to a page in Unbounce http://support.unbounce.com/entries/513757-Can-I-use-custom-JavaScript-or-CSS-on-my-page- )

:adamlofting - I've written Webmaker RID deployment instructions that will work with Unbounce here: https://github.com/mozilla/webmaker-rid#insert-into-javascript

Just copy and paste those lines linked there, and you should be good to go.
