User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:29.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/29.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20140506152807 Steps to reproduce: I tried to print an email from a gmail page, using a gmail print icon. The print panel came up. This contains the correct printer name (Canon MG6100 series..), and a button "preferences", which allows me to set page orientation, paper source, dual sided printing etc. Actual results: The print preferences button is disabled. If I proceed with printing, the Mozilla print preferences are imposed; the preview panel appears, but there is a long delay (10 secs) before the actual document appears in the panel (during which time a "barbers pole" rotates at the bottom of the screen, and "spooling" is displayed). If I press "Start Printing" there is another delay (>20 secs) before the printer springs to life (no indication what is happening). The first document printed after re-booting prints normally, but thereafter I have no control. (I have not tried just restarting Mozilla.) I have no problem printing documents, eg in Open Office. Other web pages that contain a print icon also fail under Firefox. Expected results: I should be able to select print preferences. Printing should be almost instantaneous, as it was with this printer under Windows XP and Google Chrome.

I was trying to duplicate the issue with exactly the same steps that you mentioned on Windows 7 machine using the latest version of Firefox and latest nightly build but could not reproduce the issue.
