Hmm, just realized this happens on my system even on Firefox release (29.0.1) but not in Chrome. Perhaps it's a result of me upgrading to 10.9.3 a few days ago?
I can't seem to be able to reproduce the crash with your steps neither in a fresh local nightly build, nor in FF 29.0.1, and I'm running a Mac OS 10.9.3 As smichaud uses to ask, can you get that crash with a new profile?
These crashes are deep in system code. My suggestion is to restart your computer :-) You might also want to check your hard disk(s) with Disk Utility. If that doesn't help then try a clean profile.

Yes, it happens in all profiles, both old and new. I'll try rebooting next.
Ehsan, there are only 7 of these crashes over the last 4 weeks, and I suspect 6 of them are yours (from yesterday and today).

... and the crash went away after a reboot.
