We're asking Mentors and Super Mentors to review applications for Web Literacy badges. Some of them will be unsure as to whether a particular application meets the criteria to issue the badge. Adding a 'flag for review' could help with problems/bottlenecks. ----- Suggestion: 1. Mentor / Super Mentor comes across 'problematic' application. 2. They hit the 'flag for review' button. 3. URL of application and username (email address?) of Mentor / Super Mentor sent to teachtheweb@mozillafoundation.org 4. Member of the #TeachTheWeb team reviews and provides feedback to Mentor / Super Mentor 5. Mentor / Super Mentor issues badge. 6. #TeachTheWeb team update issuing guidance.
Discussed with :k88hudson, :epilepticrabbit & :omnignorant on Friday. We have a plan for Mentors and Super Mentors to only use the Webmaker interface (rather than BadgeKit as well). Also, Kate's going to add a 'flag for review' button that follows the suggestion above. Also, 'traffic light' feedback boxes. More in the pad: https://etherpad.mozilla.org/webmakerbadgesfeedback

* Kate says we probably won't get this done this sprint * unless Erik: can you take this one?

As is perhaps obvious by now, no, I didn't get to this one.

This is actually a fairly intensive piece of UI work that we'll need to add to add post July 15. I'm removing this as a blocker from documentation

With hindsight, 'Flag for review' is probably the wrong term. 'Email for help' is probably more appropriate. MVP is literally a button with a link [mailto:teachtheweb@mozillafoundation.org?Subject="Help!%20(from%20Webmaker%20Mentor%20badge%20page)]

* This ticket is pretty old... still needed?

Hmmm... possibly not given new guidelines and fact we have more eyes on the admin panel now. I'll mark WONTFIX.
