This is a tracker bug for releasing Firefox uz.

Your team's dashboard should be up on http://l10n.mozilla.org/teams/uz. The dashboard displays your project's status and helps you (and us) determine what's left to do. Follow it closely to track your Firefox localization progress. You will see this bug listed as part of your dashboard. This helps us to track your project's progress and provide visibilty to your work.

The "bugs" here are tracking individual items of work. Some of those will depend on the localization team driving them to completion, while others are for infrastructure that will be handled by Mozilla staff. I'll indicate who is responsible in each bug.

We'll also be using two terms for interacting with version control. That's commonly mercurial, or hg, in short. "commit" is used when talking about the actual 'hg commit' command, adding changes to the local version history. "landing" means to commit something and to use 'hg push' to push it from your local version history to the one on hg.mozilla.org, mozilla's server. That's when your changes are public, and make it into the builds mozilla generates, and puts on ftp.

If you're unsure what any of the terminology means, feel free to ask. Good places are http://www.mozilla.org/about/forums/#dev-l10n-new-locales or #l10n. Ask in public, you shouldn't assume that you're the only one with the question.

It seems that the new home page has not been added to the goals structure in mozilla_lang. Note to the team that all files and directories in this folder need to be translated (all except "contribute") to launch the official localization.

Thank you for your quick response.

We're excited to have Uzbek ready for launch. These are the last items that need to be completed to launch Firefox in Uzbek:

1) There's a tag error in the following Firefox string: http://mozilla.locamotion.org/uz/firefox/translate/#filter=checks&checks=xmltags&unit=4803854

2) The web-dashboard tracks the critical projects for your locale, including their priority level and due dates. As you can see, there are four critical files that remain untranslated and need to be addressed before we can launch the Uzbek localization https://l10n.mozilla-community.org/webdashboard/?locale=uz . In Pootle, these files can be found here: http://mozilla.locamotion.org/uz/mozilla_lang/firefox/

3) I've applied the appropriate template to your team's wiki page. Please update your team wiki page according to the tempalte to include all of the necessary information about your team. https://wiki.mozilla.org/L10n:Teams:uz

One note on the missing files: the last one (tiles.lang) is not available on Pootle.

You can:
1. Click on the link
2. In the landing page, use the links on the right to download your file, translate it and attach the file to a bug for commit

Great job! As I was saying in comment 6, there's one file that's not available on Pootle.

Can you attach a localized version to this bug?

Lines starting with # are comment, lines starting with ; are reference English string, you simply need to replace the next line with your localization where missing.

Hi Akmal,

There are only three small things left to complete in order to launch:

1) Please complete translation these strings: https://l10n.mozilla.org/dashboard/compare?run=456836 found here: http://mozilla.locamotion.org/uz/firefox/translate/#filter=incomplete&goal=goal-user1

2) We will then perform a sign-off review of the product and report any issues. If there are issues, we will file a bug. If not, we'll approve the product for launch.

3) We will take care of the build needs to ensure that Uzbek ships once the sign-off is accepted.
