User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.2; WOW64; rv:32.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/32.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20140607030208

Steps to reproduce:

went to music

Actual results:

the background theme/image was no where related to Maithili.

Expected results:

It may be proper to have some background images that can be representative to Maithili, language, culture and society like Mithila Paintings, picture of Vidyapati

Jim, i don;t know whether there is any provision to to clarify at least once before tagging any bug as invalid, but it should be? In the FirefoxOS there are themes that are available as per the region/languages and what is wrong if any language user needs a background image as per the region. What is 'invalid' for one can be very much 'valid' for others. So please reopen it or else if you want to close it as invalid please give proper cause for the same.

Certainly not. Closing a bug as INVALID is a 100% reversible process, and if a bug is erroneously closed as INVALID, a short comment explaining why it should be reopened (i.e. clarifying the initial description) is all it takes to reverse course.

This has nothing to do with the music app, which doesn't have "background themes". Even if comment 0 is talking about something else, like album art, I'd strongly argue for WONTFIXing it, since there's no reason why the music app should use locale-specific art assets for placeholder album art.

INVALID, WONTFIX, it's all the same to me: it's not going to happen.

More to the point, however, the formulation of this bug follows a typical pattern we see in Bugzilla that we are unable to prevent: namely, the creation of spurious bug reports that exist only to test out Bugzilla, not to file an actual issue. This can actually get pretty bad in some components, with hundreds of these bugs filed in a day. If I see bugs like that in components I watch, I close them. For a long time, I used to try to get clarification first, and then close them later, but I never once got a response, so nowadays, I just close them.
Sorry if I come across as aggressive above, but it's quite frustrating that there seems to be nothing we can do about this class of "just testing Bugzilla" bug reports. They crop up once every few months (presumably as part of a university class) and always follow this exact form: a "New to Bugzilla" account using Gmail, an extremely generic set of STRs, and pretty formulaic "actual"/"expected" results descriptions that generally have nothing obvious to do with the STRs or the component the bug was filed in.

No problem. I can understand. Let me clarify my stand on l10n aspect.

The bug was filed in the event specially organized for FirefoxOS: https://wiki.mozilla.org/India/Indic_FirefoxOS_L10n_Sprint_2014

Please refer: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Language_localisation

"In addition to translation (and, therefore, grammar and spelling issues that vary from place to place where the same language is spoken), the localization process might include adapting graphics; adopting local currencies; using proper format for date and time, addresses, and phone numbers applicable to the location; the choices of colors; and many other details, including rethinking the physical structure of a product."

Adaptation of graphics can be one major item for localization. Even Mozilla offers community a choice to set its own set of Search engines. So I thought, if bug is filed for changing the image, then what is wrong in it?

Attaching the image what currently appear when I tap on music section when running fxos in Maithili language: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=8458392
Oh, that's not the music app; so then this is actually a bug filed in the wrong component. I'm not actually sure there's anything Mozilla can do about that anyway, since I think that's coming from Everything.me. But I'll change the component just in case.

Sorry for any confusion!
