I tried to "mark all feeds as read", by right-clicking on the "blog and news feed" account in the main folder list, but the context menu does not have such option. Neither does MS Outlook. But Windows Live Mail has an "all feeds" field and it's possible there to mark all feeds as read. I find this option really useful and think that it'd be nice if Thunderbird offered it.
this doesn't exist on any account type and marking read is currently only folder specific. however, this would be a useful enhancement. if implemented, it should be on all account types, not just feeds.
