I would suggest to move this bug to the German component, as it is it doesn't have any visibility. If you want a bug in Firefox::Translation, you could create a tracking bug there and set dependencies.

German team works on Aurora, so you'll have those strings before the end of next cycle (I assume we're talking about Aurora for Firefox 33, considering today is the last day of the cycle).
No, i'm actually talking about Aurora for 32 (as we are at the end of Aurora 31 right now). All strings we need are currently in m-c, and will make it to Aurora today/tomorrow as it moves from 31 to 32.

Right, I meant Firefox 32 (current nightly), not 33.
Translation related strings have been translated and uploaded in bug 1024675. The following strings couldn't be tested in the product because the translation provider hasn't been implemented, I guess:

+<!-- LOCALIZATION NOTE (translation.translatedFrom.label,
+ - translation.translatedTo.label,
+ - translation.translatedToSuffix.label):
+ - These 3 strings are used to construct a sentence that contains 2 dropdowns
+ - showing the source and target language of a translated web page.
+ - In en-US it looks like this:
+ - This page has been translated from [from language] to [to language]
+ - "from language" and "to language" here are language names coming from the
+ - global/languageNames.properties file; for some locales they may not be in
+ - the correct grammar case to keep the same structure of the original
+ - sentence.
+ -
+ - translation.translatedToSuffix.label (empty in en-US) is for locales that
+ - need to display some text after the second drop down for the sentence to
+  -  be grammatically correct. -->
+<!ENTITY translation.translatedFrom.label "Diese Seite wurde von">
+<!ENTITY translation.translatedTo.label "nach">
+<!ENTITY translation.translatedToSuffix.label "übersetzt.">
+
+<!ENTITY translation.showOriginal.button "Original anzeigen">
+<!ENTITY translation.showTranslation.button "Übersetzung anzeigen">

and

+<!ENTITY translation.serviceUnavailable.label "Die Übersetzungsfunktion steht derzeit nicht zur Verfügung. Bitte versuchen Sie es später noch einmal.">

It's implemented but pref'ed off.

I can give you over IRC a key to add in about:config to make it work for your testing.

This string isn't used in the product yet, but will be as soon as I finish bug 1012535.

These have been checked after :florian provided the key for testing:
