STR: 1. Enter Settings. 2. Tap "Wi-Fi hotspot" to enable the hotspot (Now, suppose you want to connect another device to the hotspot) 3. Tap "Hotspot settings" button to view the hotspot's password ACTUAL RESULTS: The Hotspot settings button becomes disabled when the hotspot is on. So, you can't actually view the hotspot password at the time when you'd need to use it (when you're connecting another device to the powered-up hotspot). EXPECTED RESULTS: Should be able to view (though perhaps not modify?) the settings, even while the hotspot is powered up. This especially applies to the password. I'm using a flame device, with my own just-built-locally build of trunk B2G. OS Version: 126.96.36.199-prerelease Git commit info: 2014-06-08 87a937c5
(In reply to Daniel Holbert [:dholbert] from comment #0) > ACTUAL RESULTS: > The Hotspot settings button becomes disabled when the hotspot is on. (In other words: the "Hotspot settings" currently becomes grayed out when the hotspot is powered up, and tapping it in Step 3 has no effect).
In the meantime, what is the default password?
There is no one default password - it's randomly-generated, per-device. You can view it on your Firefox OS device -- you just have to disable the hotspot first.
