Attempts to log in to TD Canada Trust's web site are unsuccessful: the target page is never displayed. Attempted login from http://www.tdcanadatrust.com/ and pressing the "Login now" link, and directly by typing in the URL http://www.tdcanadatrust.com/login/index.html. In both cases, the browser remains busy and indicates "sending request to easyweb.canadatrust.com" but never connects. Eventually the browser seems to give up, but the target page is not displayed. The source code is: <html><head> <meta HTTP-EQUIV="REFRESH" CONTENT="0; URL=https://easyweb.tdcanadatrust.com/"> <title>Login</title></head> <body BGCOLOR="FFFFFF"></body> </html> Build id 2001092603, Windows 2000 SP1. BTW, Bugzilla auto-identified my OS as WinNT, not Win2K: last bug I entered (97997) it worked properly.
On Moz 0.9.4 nightly build 2001.09.28, it does take a long time to load http://www.tdcanadatrust.com/login/index.html But it works. They might have fixed the site. Note that now the above re-directs to an https site: https://easyweb.tdcanadatrust.com/
I decided to go "full clean", removing Mozregistry.dat and Mozver.dat and reinstall. All works fine now. As an aside: I thought these would remove my bookmarks and browse history, but they did not! Any clues for how to ensure a CLEAN install of Mozilla from a talkback build? I'd prefer to post REAL bugs -- I'm sure you'd all agree :)
