1. Update Gaia (last revision available was 72b4922).
2. Open the Camera App
	 
Actual results

View/Monitor is black (view attachment).
	 
Expected results

"Preview" of the photo at view/monitor.

It doesn't reproduce either in the gaia version mentioned in comment #1 (72b4922) This is the gaia/gecko combo I'm using:

The bug refers to mike's patch that updates the camera app to match the new Gecko API. My guess is that the reporter has not an up to date gecko and this is why it's not working for him.
