The dashboard is up and working here (and looks awesome!): https://metrics.mozilla.com/protected/dashboards/

Remaining details to finish up the dashboard below...

Required before turning off the geckoboard (target before the end of the week, before whd goes on vacation):
- Finish automation by making endpoint available #1013590 (:whd)
- Update the backfill data (:kparlante)

Next up:
- Replace the placeholder text (:kparlante)
- Cloud services to host the dashboard (:whd)
- Add CSV option (in addition to or in place of JSON)
- Make sure csv/json pulls full set of data

Extra credit:
- more frequent updates of the "total accounts" number
Fyi: total, cumulative, and new accounts are updated in real time and finalized once a day from the DB. Also backfill capabilities have been added to the plugin.

Yay, thanks :trink.

For the record, the geckoboard now points to: https://metrics.fxa.us-west-2.prod.mozaws.net/accounts-dashboard/

Done:
- Automation is working
- Backfill is now being handled properly
- PR for the placeholder text
- Cloud services is hosting the dashboard
- All fields in the json are updating in real time (though not yet being picked up by the dashboard)

To do:
- Add CSV option, get it to pull full set of data
- Dashboard to pick up updates more frequently
- Friendlier URL

I'll probably close this bug tomorrow and start tracking open tasks in github: https://github.com/mozilla/accounts-dashboard

:trink's real time changes are not yet deployed to production. I can deploy it tomorrow night or over the weekend since it seems stable and fixes "Dashboard to pick up updates more frequently". It also means we can remove the backfill logic from accounts-dashboard. This in theory leaves "Friendlier URL" as the only thing blocked on me (assuming you take the route of generating the CSV on the fly from the JSON).

I think we've met the bar that we needed to for this week. Its fine if these other changes land later this month. Yes, I was assuming generating CSV on the fly from the JSON.

Closing this and tracking remaining small issues in github.
