Details

After selecting Mozilla Mail to be the default mail client, switching back to
Outlook Express to be the default email client causes a failed logon.

DIRECTIONS:
1. Launch Mozilla and select Mozilla to be the default email client from
Edit|Preferences|Mail & Newsgroups.
2. Launch Winword and successfully send an email through mozilla email.
3. Close Winword and launch Mozilla.
4. Deselect Mozilla Email to be the default email client and close Mozilla.
5. Launch Winword and attempt to send an email message.

ACTUAL:
Error dialog "Logon failed. You must logon to Microsoft Exchange..."

EXPECTED:
Deselecting that pref should set the prior default email client(Outlook Express)
to become the default.

Trix, before you set Mozilla as default mail client were you able to send
mail from Word using Outlook Express?
Can you post export your registry key for
HKEY_LOcAL_MACHINE\Software\Clients\Mail and post it in this bug or send it to
me. This is after you do steps 1-4.
With 20011012 0.9.4 branch build to test on Windows 2000, This problem has been
fixed.
Is this a worksforme based on yulian's comments since I don't think this is on
the trunk right now? If not I want to nominate it with an nsbeta1.
