>>Project/Request Title: OSCON Booth Design >>Project Overview: OSCON is a key event in the open source community, and is directly aligned with Mozilla’s beliefs in and efforts to promote and preserve the open web and open source technology, and foster open source communities. OSCON facilitates the sharing of open source product and technology ideas, and brings together a large community (3000 attendees) of open source technologists and enthusiasts, many of whom are major supporters and contributors to the Mozilla Project. >> Creative Help Needed: Copy: No Design: Yes Video: No Other: No >>Creative Specs: Booth Frame: - (1) SS print fabric approx. 2'w x 8'h - Sheer fabric that will be stretched over an aluminum frame - orange with Tabzilla at top in reference graphics - (2) light box panel graphics approx. 3'w x 6'h - Firefox light blue with full color fox in reference graphics Cabinets: - (9) SS printed substrate approx. 2'w x 3'h - only one shown in reference graphic, is Firefox light blue with logo and wordmark - the booth system will have (3) cabinet stations (not 2, as the ref graphic shows), and the printed substrate will be (2) side panels and (1) front panel for each cabinet >>CTA and Design: - Graphics Requirements doc (delivery method, file type, file name guidelines, etc.) provided here: http://bit.ly/1hPE1In - All supporting Creative documents found here: http://bit.ly/1hPE8DH - including graphics reference doc "MGD 10x10 Sample FxOS Mockup" Firefox OS (developer version) is the leading product for this event. Thanks! I see this is due on Monday, but haven't spoken to them yet and don't see contact details. I'm assuming they've been briefed on this project?
Robyn, what should Sean do next here?

Thanks all, In the Google Drive list o docks, I see a mockup submitted June 11th - have they been given feedback on that round? There are many thinks we should change with it. Please confirm where we are in the mockup feedback process and I can chime in with them on next steps. Thanks!

Hi all, - The mockup submitted on June was created as a sample by the MGDesign team; they didn't have access to the FxOS developer style artwork at that time, just what's on the online Style Guide. This was simply for visualization purposes and is not expected to be the final product, or have any bearing artistically to the final product. Sean, you have full direction here on what needs to be changed. - We haven't received the name/email of their art team contact yet as we're waiting for Rick to officially approve the contract. I will get this as soon as the we have the ok (MGDesign and I are both standing by for this approval) - I will have an updated due date once I have the ok from Rick and have sent over the signed contract. Thanks, Robyn
Update: meeting scheduled for Friday 6/27 with Sean, me, Benjamin, Shez, and MGDesign to review the booth design.
MGDesign's first swing at designing the layouts for the Mozilla booth. Sean, can you advise re:the counters options? My preference is the first or third. Thanks, Robyn Ref: Email from Aimee Donovan, June 30.

Hey Robyn. How soon do you need feedback on this? Sean is on PTO until Wednesday.
Hi John, As soon as possible, at least for the selection of the counters. Once we select those, they'll update the proof. Thanks!
It's a little tricky for me to fully weigh in b/c Sean is leading this one and I wasn't at the meeting where you all discussed it. They're using the most current logo on the counters, so that's good. My main question is that we seem to be juxtaposing Firefox (shown on the counters and tower) and Firefox OS (shown on the lightboxes). Also, we do need a Firefox OS logo, or at least wordmark, to accompany the fox graphic on the lightboxes. Hope that helps, at least a bit.

I also like 1 and 3 for the counters the Tower and Lightboxes look nice.
MG Designs Update from 7/1/14: This puts our deadline for approvals at Friday, July 4- but with the holiday, let’s push that to Monday, July 7th. That gives us tomorrow and Thursday for any changes that need to be made.
Latest mockups from MGD, as per Sean's direction. MGD is sending samples of these to the San Francisco office for review.
