Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:0.9.3) Gecko/20010801 BuildID: 2001080110 The keyboard input in forms is distorted after pressing the windows key which popups up menu's (not the start menu). For example r takes you to the "print page" dialog, alt p pastes text from the clipboard. This only has effect for the current window, and restarting the browser solves the problem. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Load a page with a form where you can enter text 2.press the window button to get the popup menu (left of the right ctrl) 3.press it again 4.Entering text will have very weird results now Actual Results: r takes you to the "print page" dialog, alt p pastes text from the clipboard, and i think there are many more combo's, but haven't really tried them Expected Results: r should enter an r into a form field, alt p should take you to the print dialog It also causes problems in ASPN Komodo from activestate.com, (which I think uses Mozilla). The mail client does not have this problem.
Reporter, when reporting a bug please use a more recent build, the one you're using is almost two months old. Secondly, when you use context menu key, the context menu takes the keyboard focus, so the keys you press once it has come up navigate through the menu. Therefore, if you open the context menu and then press the down button the selection in the menu will move down. Similarly, if you press "p" it will carry out the command with the "p" shortcut, which is paste. Reccomending invalid.
Recommending, I mean
WFM Win98SE build 2001093008, cannot duplicate reporter's results on at least a dozen sites with forms.
