Steps to reproduce:

Version 31.0 Beta.

Whilst Utilizing the browser and opening up more than just one tab, the tab will freeze into place and disallow you to close it.  When clicking the X on the tab it opens a new tab instead.   The only way to by "fix" it is to shutdown the process from the Task Manager.
 
Steps I have taken:

I have opened up multiple instances of Firefox, recreating the issue multiple times.   I have started up in Safe mode, and although it seems to have to resolved the issue after 10 minutes or so of use the issue comes back.   I have restarted my computer, to ensure that a process is not hanging.   I know my browser updated last night to a Beta version of 31.0, I'm not sure as to which version its on though. 


Actual results:

Even after taking the above steps the issue still persists, I am tempted to uninstall the browser and reinstall a non-beta version of the software.   

The browser in itself works just fine, its just the tabs that are not functioning properly, not being able to close them at all while they are being used.   Also if you do click the X the tab will freeze and disallow you to actually access it again, but will then open a new tab for you...Which defeats the purpose.


Expected results:

I am expecting the tab to close and open when I tell it to.   I expect that the tab will not freeze, nor when I click the X that a new tab opens up.

The fact that there are two tab buttons pretty much means an add-on is messing something up. Can you copy/paste the relevant parts of about:support ?

How do I close the ticket... I've fixed the issue... I had a add on that was messing things up.  Didn't think to even check that until after the fact.

I can close this, but will you please tell me which add-on? There are other people who have this issue, and then we can also contact the add-on author :-)
