1025064 - All transitions have disappeared from the task manager

If you open the task manager and swipe between apps or swipe an app closed, the transitions that would normally play at the end of movements no longer play.

STR:
1 - Load 2 or more apps
2 - Open the task manager
3 - Drag half-way between the current app and the next app
4 - Let go

Expected result:

An animation runs that moves the nearest app to the center of the screen.

What actually happens:

The nearest app immediately pops to the center of the screen.


The same thing happens when swiping an app up to close it - it immediately disappears as soon as you lift your finger and the next app immediately takes its place.

This is a regression since 1.4 and is very jarring.
