Steps to reproduce:

1. Set layers.async-pan-zoom.enabled in about:config to "true"
2. Go to https://medium.com/@richarmstrong/be-a-manager-3b0e39d87179
3. Scroll down on the page till you see the image next to "What’s happening?"
4. Scroll a little bit up (in my case I use the touch pad of my MacBook Pro)

Expected outcome:

- The page should scroll only a little bit upwards

Actual outcome:

- The page scrolls all the way up to the top

I can confirm this behavior on my Macbook running 10.9.3.
I don't see this on the latest code (with the patches from bug 1072498 applied to make APZ work again). Closing as WFM for now but please reopen if you're still seeing this.
