User Story

As a user I want to sign in to my account on the TAKO device once, and have my sign in state be shared across the key applications. This will enable a streamlined experience across those applications and prevent me from needing to enter my login credentials over and over.

What does this actually mean? Is the implication that there is: - A super-cookie-jar whose credentials pre-empt/are used as a fallback if the local app-specific cookie-jar does not have such cookies? (And mozAnon is not used for XHR, etc. etc.) - An opt-in mechanism to the shared credential mechanism user story on bug 1026104? - Just some special Firefox Accounts credential thing? - Other
I believe this user story (or the motivation behind this user story) will be satisfied when a third party can provide an authentication application and accompanying applications that use that authentication (with all applications known to each other), such that they can all be kept in a consistent login state. This may already be possible utilizing IAC. I do not believe that this will involve Firefox Accounts.

Hi, Adam, May I have a question? Have we implemented this feature? If we have completed this, can we close this bug? Thanks.
Flags: needinfo?(arogers)
No, this was not implemented.

(In reply to Adam Rogers (:arog) from comment #8) > No, this was not implemented. So, could we put it on the backlog or close this user story? Thanks.
