* CONTEXT: * we're creating a landing page to test how various calls to action perform on the snippet * Unbounce will probably not pass security review in time, so we're going to create the page ourselves and host it on the webmaker.org domain * DESIGN DELIVERABLE: * What we need: a slightly nicer designed version of this page: http://welcome.webmaker.org/firefox-snippet-test-landing-page/ * Delivered as a flat mock-up we can then hand over to a front-end web developer to implement WHY? * Andrea created this page herself -- needs some design love * Follow our brand guidelines for look and feel, improved typography and layout, etc. * Imagery not required -- text only is fine JUST TO BE CLEAR: we don't need HTML / CSS. Just a design mock-up. * Once the page mock-up is complete, it can be passed to a front end developer for implementation
* yay! Looks like Sabrina can take this one. * Sabrina: can you let us know when you think you can have this done? So that I can have a front-end dev ready to create the HTML / CSS?
Created attachment 8441775 [details] red pen mockups Hey Matt- I got some mockups up on redpen for you: https://redpen.io/p/wq9f599965773f43c2 Let me know what works and they are pretty much ready - but I can refine them if needed after designs are reviewed.
These are great! THEY ARE SO MUCH BETTER THAN MY LAME MOCKUP. I think for this initial round of tests we should keep the landing page simple. I like this one: https://redpen.io/ot3679dc4ffb1a6603 But we should definitely test the one with photos in the near future. Also, I think we should tweak the language so it flows a little better (Sorry Erika!) to: "Learn more about Mozilla Webmaker and join the global Maker Party, a 3-month celebration of teaching and learning on the web." ("Participating" was a hanging me up a little...)
+ 1 Sabrina these are AMAZING. Can't believe you got this done so quickly as well -- thank you so much! * Ok, so we're going with this design: https://redpen.io/ot3679dc4ffb1a6603 * Andrea: please make sure the updated copy you want is in the etherpad for https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1026693 so that I can assign this to a dev to create the HTML / CSS * Marking this resolved. Amazing work.
