LastTabsPanel: * Makes no sense if you have tabs set to auto-restore. It always appears empty, showing the quintomino and the explanatory text, which... * ... is confusing as all get out, because "Your recent tabs show up here" is wrong. I just closed a tab, and it's not here, so... What I think this panel *really* does is show your last session, just like about:session-restore on desktop. Let's do one of these things: 1. Kill this panel entirely. 2. Populate it with recently closed tabs as you close them, integrating with Bug 701725 or such. 3. Explain it better ("if you don't check this box somewhere in Settings, tabs from last time you opened Firefox will be buried here"). Ian et al, am I missing something?

This bug seems like it might fix itself when Margaret finishes her work on making a separate "recent tabs" panel, that shows not only tabs from your last session, but *recently closed* ones as well: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1004850#c1 Seems like in that case, you would be a lot less likely to end up with an empty panel as often as you do, Richard, even if you do have auto-restore enabled.

Yeah, this will be resolved when bug 1004850 lands (as soon as I get a green try run). And if you're still not happy, file complaints about that after it lands! :)
