Lots of things auto-deploy, and it clutters up the changelog app with changes that aren't actually changing anything. This also reduces the load on things like genericadm's local git repos. This also reduces the odd possibility that a deploy might break in some weird way (like shut down apache but not start it up, as a random example). The risk is that if done improperly, changes might not get deployed. We'll find out about this if/when developers report to us that changes don't seem to be applying.
Have already done: mozillians.dev input.dev reps.dev shipit.dev badges.dev www-dev.allizom.org (php) www.allizom.org (php) www.mozilla.org (php) firefoxflicks.dev geo.dev Still to do: bedrock dev/stage/prod django side... messy due to locales auto-deploying, but the main site not (there's a separate bug 917600 about setting up chief for bedrock-dev) bounceradm stuff?

A few more knocked out here, bedrock django auto-updates for locales (from SVN). Still TODO: download-dev.allizom.org bedrock-prod - update_product_details ... may require dev help
I think I've fixed download-dev.allizom.org. Time will tell if it still deploys properly when changes actually happen. I think I've fixed www.mozilla.org-django (product-details) in a similar way... again, time will tell. I think that's everything that was spamming changelog with auto-deploy notifications. Marking this as R/F.
