Setting for turning word auto suggest off is missing

In the latest 2.0 build, I cannot find a setting to turn word suggest/auto suggest off. It is not under Keyboard settings.

Nominating this to block because autocorrect behaviors (and specifically not being able to turn it off, or to have dismissing it not create a character space) makes user name entry impossible in some text fields. See related bug #783332, for example.

Can verify the character space is added automatically in Contacts and SMS as well.

The entry is Settings > Keyboards > Built-in Keyboard.
