When I hang up and call someone else rather quickly, I always get this error:
"Unable to make a phone call now
Cannot make a call. If you are already dialing, please hang up first."

Maybe this is a race condition, but it prevents me from using the phone for calls quite often.


STR:
1) Make a phone call.
2) After hanging up, quickly select a different number and call
3) Wait a few seconds, it appears the number is being dialed
4) You notice the error and that the call has not been placed.

This is especially annoying if you have the phone next to your ear after (2) and don't see the error message.

Frederik,

Could you provide the software version and commit id?

I followed the STR, but it worked well on my flame (w/ master branch). In step 2, I have tried (1) dialing from keypad, (2) dialing from call log. I believe that the action was quick enough. Thus, it doesn't seem to be a race condition.

Do you have any details that could help me reproduce the bug?

To clarify my STR, in step 2 I have been using the call log, not the dial pad (which takes longer and might not catch the race condition).

Can you try again?
