I'm using windows XP pro final. In the latest nightlies it installs fine but comes up with an error when trying to get out on the net. (can't find site or somthing along those lines) Mail or news can't connect either. It's like your trying to get on the net without any connection at all. The way I connect to the net's a little different, but Netscape 4.x and IE don't have a problem. I use a Linux machine to connect my to the net through DSL, then have all my other machines sharing that connection via iptables on the linux machine. So the XP machine always has a constant connection.

Marking these all WORKSFORME sorry about lack of response but were very overloaded here. Only reopen the bug if you can reproduce with the following steps: 1) Download the latest nightly (or 0.9.6 which should be out RSN) 2) Create a new profile 3) test the bug again If it still occurs go ahead and reopen the bug. Again sorry about no response were quite overloaded here and understaffed.
