seen on commercial windows build 2001-10-03-06-trunk -goto to secure (https) site the browser does nothing...status bar says "done time 0 sec" note: linux and mac worked fine. also note: spellchecker and IM silently fail to work also. I don't know if they are related, but they all just showed up on this build.

tracy, can you try the 8-am windows build and try to reproduce this?

HTTPS (SSL) issues go to the PSM product.

Is this a problem only in commercial builds or also in Mozilla builds

appears to be commercial only, so it's possible some commercial overlay is laying waste to all three of these apps, reducing severity for the commercial tree.
Severity: blocker → critical

All three of these are working for me in 100303 comm. build on windows. Going to grab the later build and try there too.

PSM team hasn't checked in anything big recently, certainly not in the last day.
