Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:30.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/30.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20140605174243
Steps to reproduce:
Some pdf files do not fully open or display properly. Examples:
http://www.stanfordtheatre.org/images/singin wizard flyer.pdf
Also rebate forms in TigerDirect.com
Switching pdf Application to Adobe Reader fixed the problem. I don't know why, but apparently when I last "updated" Firefox, it changed the default pdf reader from Adobe to it's own app that does not work in XP.
Actual results:
pdf files corrupted, won't fully displayt.
here's the other example of pdf that won't display correctly...

Both examples work for me in current Nightly on Linux. Have you already tried to open them in safe mode or a new profile?
Component: Untriaged → PDF Viewer
If I have to use Linux and start in safe mode or create a new profile every time I have to view a PDF, then I'll be switching to another browser.
btw, I have a lot of trouble logging in to this site to respond. usually takes at least 5 attempts, don't know why.

This is just to find the source of the problem. Mostly an incompatible add-on or a setting is the cause of the "bug". It's also possible that is bug is already fixed in Nightly builds or just affect Windows XP.
