Steps to reproduce 1. Type a valid address email in Rocketbar 2. Hit enter Expected result E-mail app should be opened (as it does with mailto:your@email.address.tld) . Actual Browser is opened at http://email.address.tld/.

I don't think this is currently supported use case, but I'll needinfo UX to confirm.

Agree with Jason, don't believe this is a supported use case, flagging Francis to confirm.

Right. One weird thing to me is that typing an email address redirects you to the website. If this issue is not supported, as a user, I think it makes more sense to start a search instead. Another strange thing is that typing mailto:your@email.address.tld currently starts the e-mail client. So the feature seems to be partially implemented. These behaviors appear inconsistent. What do you think?
I think the difference is that the mailto: is a URI scheme that's valid for browser. I could be mistaken.
(In reply to Stephany Wilkes from comment #2) > Agree with Jason, don't believe this is a supported use case, flagging > Francis to confirm. I think this may have been under discussion for the early vision of the Rocketbar, which launched actions as well as just searched, but this use case currently isn't supported.

Flagging Wilfred for consideration for future releases.
