Following on from Bug 1015117, we can use a webmaker.org alias for our BSD account. This will allow webmaker sign-up pages to use the same Google Analytics tracking codes and to setup corresponding conversion Goals in GA. The info from BSD I have is: ------- "Doing that is a two step process involving DNS records. The first step is to add: *.sendto.webmaker.org IN CNAME sendto.webmaker.org. this record doesn't actually go anywhere, but it show's our vendor that we can buy a cert on your behalf. Once that's in, let me know and I can send along the final record. " ------- JP, does that sound sane?
+1, this makes perfect sense. I've added the requested DNS record for validation.
Thanks! This is back with BSD for the next step.
Next step from BSD: ------- "Great, can you now add: sendto.webmaker.org. IN CNAME mozilla.sanssl-002.bsdtools.com. and remove: *.sendto.webmaker.org IN CNAME sendto.webmaker.org. and we should be set." -----
