Details

Before bug 1028835 landed, there were two issues related to truncating video title regarding poor performance. 

The first was that when there were a lot of videos on a device, regardless of the length of the titles, the process of rendering the list view is very time consuming and produces bad user experience.

The second issue is process of truncating video titles is very time consuming.
