RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 888876

People

(Reporter: Scott.Copus, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:30.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/30.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20140605174243

Steps to reproduce:

Make the master password dialog box appear.

Actual results:

When the master password prompt appears, the text box label "Please enter the master password for the Software Security Device" is focusable. I'm not sure if this is by design or not--but it is odd in my opinion. The problem is that sometimes this dialog will lose focus and I will click "in the box" causing the focus/cursor to be WITHIN the text box LABEL--instead of within the password entry text box itself. Since the focus is not properly in the password entry text box, this requires an extra click (or maybe a tab key press) to change focus to it.

Expected results:

I don't expect the prompt string "Please enter the master password for the Software Security Device" to be focusable (i.e. for the cursor to remain in the prompt string).
I believe the prompt string "Please enter the master password for the Software Security Device" needs to be changed from a read-only text box GUI element to a "label" GUI element.
