What problems would this solve? =============================== When translating, we meet two types of texts: - literacy (sentences, explanations) - code (variables' names, example For code, replacing N occurences of words / bag of words is often enough (e.g. replace a variable name across a tutorial page). Who would use this? =================== Localizers or native speaking editors who want to edit examples and paragraphs in terms of "non-literal" content. What would users see? ===================== A button for the feature, ideally some hint for a shortkey. What would users do? What would happen as a result? =================================================== They would click the button or use the shortkey to select the occurences they want to replace and will be able to edit the selection once instead of N times (N being the number of occurences). Is there anything else we should know? ====================================== 1. This is inspired from features of Sublime Text and I don't know if there is some intellectual property there. 2. Ideally, this should work across different types of selection (paragraph, code...) to be sure to be able to replace any occurence.
Should/Can this be related to bug 1032321 ? (small impact but related to L10N for me)
