After inserting tables inside of tables multiple times, the Insert Table window will stop creating tables and will eventually get stuck

Desciption: After inserting tables inside of tables multiple times, the Insert
Table window will stop creating tables and will eventually get stuck. Then if
you click Cancel the screen won't refresh properly. The only screen that will
be visible is the <HTML>Source.
Reproducibility: Every time
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a new blank page to edit in Composer
2. Click inside the body of Composer.
3. At the top, click on Insert then click on Table.
4. In the Insert Table window, leave the default values. (Rows:2, Columns:2,
Width:100% of window, Border:1 pixel) Then click on OK.
5. Hold down your CTRL button and click on the upper left hand cell of the NEW
table, to select that cell. (it should now have a blue line highliting that
cell's frame)
6. At the top, click on Insert then click on Table.
7. In the Insert Table window, leave the default values. (Rows:2, Columns:2,
Width:100% of window, Border:1 pixel) Then click on OK.
8. Repeat steps 5, 6, and 7 until you have a total of 34 Tables.
(This is basically what your tables will start to look like)

9. Continue to try to insert more tables in the upper left hand cell of the
NEW table. (No new tables will appear at this point and the Insert Table screen
may or may not dissapear. I have tried this many times.
Sometimes the Insert Table screen will "freeze" on the first attempt to insert
more than 34 tables.
On other tries it took me an additional 23 attempts before it froze up.
10. Once the Insert Table screen freezes, click on Cancel. (there will now be
a blank space where that window was.
. At this point you can try to refresh the screen several different ways:
scrolling up and down, minimizing then maximizing the Composer screen, and
clicking on the other view tabs.(Show All Tags, Preview, and <HTML>Source)
You will get a blank screen on all tabs except <HTML> Source.

NOTE:
-The only way to get your tables back is to save your Composer page, then re-
open that file.(However the last table created does not look correct-the top
cells are combined into one larger cell)

Expected Results:
I expected that either Composer would continue to create tables or I would
receive some sort of error message indicating that a limit had been reached.

Also On Windows NT 4.0 if you have a background image setup for OCmposer and you
take these steps to produce this but not only does the page go blank, but it
also erases the background you have setup. This also happens on windows 2000.
Same build as reported.
Unable to duplicate a hang.
This is an unlikely encountered scenario, so not marking EDITORBASE

FWIW, the parser has an internal stack limit of 200 nested tags.

This bug report is registered in the SeaMonkey product, but has been without a comment since the inception of the SeaMonkey project. This means that it was logged against the old Mozilla suite and we cannot determine that it's still valid for the current SeaMonkey suite. Because of this, we are setting it to an UNCONFIRMED state.

MASS-CHANGE:

If you still can reproduce the bug on SeaMonkey 2 or otherwise think it's still valid, please REOPEN it and if it is a platform or toolkit issue, move it to the according component.
