[Stage] "Unknown account" when creating a new account on stage to test FMD

Newly created account I was using: mozfindmydevice@yahoo.com

STR:
1. Set up device according to instructions here: https://wiki.mozilla.org/User_Services/Try_FMD
2. Make sure prefs are pushed to phone and that phone reboots.
3. Create a brand new, never used account on device in the Settings app.
4. Receive the verification email and the message "Account Verified"
5. Finish signing in on the device and enable FMD pref
6. Confirm you are signed on and FMD is enabled
7. Navigate to website and log in with that account.
8. Receive the error message - "Unknown Account"

This has happened to me a bunch of different times.
Also if it is helpful I created the account in the Firefox Accounts menu in Settings.
Marcia, is this still happening with current staging server?

I haven't seen this error since it was reported on 7-3.
