From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win 9x 4.90; en-US; rv:0.9.4) Gecko/20010913 BuildID: 2001091303 The URL may not work as you must be registered at the Bulletin board to see the page. Anyways the text box is not as big as it should be (extending all the way to under the close current tag) and when I go to copy and paste something from editpad classic into the text box and it wouldn't paste until I hit space bar. Also when I went to edit my message in the text box when I hit backspace sometimes more than one character would appear and sometimes when I enter text no characters will attend. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. write down some text in editpad classic, highlight, right click and choose copy from the menu (http://www.editpadclassic.com) I copied the text from the google .src file. 2. right click in the text box and hit paste 3. hit spacebar and it should appear Actual Results: The text appeared. Strange as the problem was reproduced a few times when I was posting the message titled "Mozilla". Expected Results: The text would appear.
I am still having this problem, with the same site and with inputting text into the URL entry field on the browser, even without doing the copy and paste.
1) Are you seeing this still with a recent build? 2) Could you attach the source of the page in question using http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?bugid=103427&action=enter ?
I recently switched to XP. I just installed build 2001121103 and that problem seems to be gone.
