User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:30.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/30.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20140605174243 Steps to reproduce: Open Adressbook of thunderbird. choose a list, enter an emailadress to searchfield (name or adress) if you have not found it, I switch to the next list within my adressbook, Actual results: the entry of my emailadres disappears. I need to enter it again. and so on. If somebody has many lists like me, he nned to retype again and again or he need to copy his adress again and again. Expected results: It should be nice to: get the result of the search of all lists at once, and if you need to change (with that feature you dont need to change, but if you want to change to another list, the entered email or name should remain. Thank you folks for your good work. :-)
I suspect we aren't ever likely to so this. The search field currently ONLY searches contacts, not lists. But perhaps in the future "new address book" world we might do something to accommodate.
