As an user, I can plug USB flash drive into my device (ex: phone/tablet/TV) then there will be an new device storage for me to access. ex: playing music, view image and video.

Assume that phone/tablet/TV have only one USB host port (or USB OTG port), then there would be only one USB port exposed to user. But actually user can expand USB port via USB hub so we can't make sure only one USB flash drive will be connected into device.

Therefore there will be no fixed number of storages returned by navigator.getDeviceStorages().
This will be an issue to support this user story.

I don't think you need to make any changes to device storage to support this.

As long as vold manages the flash drive, then device storage will automatically see it.

So this is really about configuring the kernel to support OTG correctly, and then setting up vold to manage the volume.
Outsider here. Sorry if this is a dumb question.

Should this be dependent on bug 674718?
