From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:0.9.4+) Gecko/20010927 BuildID: 2001092703 I have three pop accounts created on mail manager. When new mail comes from other non-default accounts there is no update on the number of messages arrived. I mean, at the side of the word INBOX there is a number showing the unread messages. This number does not update when new messages come unless I click on each inbox to see how many files have already arrived...
I believe there is bug to determine what is suppose to happen before you hit the read messages button. It seems to me that newsgroup accounts look and download messages before.. Inbox does it afterward if you change the server setting for each account: 'check for new mail on startup', newsgroups dont have that setting and autodownload the new mail #'s. Trying changing the checkbox in your pop account to see if that makes a difference for you.
Marking these all WORKSFORME sorry about lack of response but were very overloaded here. Only reopen the bug if you can reproduce with the following steps: 1) Download the latest nightly (or 0.9.6 which should be out RSN) 2) Create a new profile 3) test the bug again If it still occurs go ahead and reopen the bug. Again sorry about no response were quite overloaded here and understaffed.
