I've switched to the Gaia systems UI team - while I don't mind looking at these issues, at some point I'm going to have to draw a line... So doing so now.

If we're short on resources and something is urgent, of course I'm more than happy to have a look. Otherwise, I'd prefer not to be cc'd on stuff like this unless there's a specific question I can help answer immediately :)
We're falling back to synchronous scrolling on this site because it's an overflow:scroll div that's scrolling. This will be better when we switch to the C++ APZC.
Depends on: apz-fennec
Well just thought I would see if there was any mention of this on Bugzilla, not sure if this is the same issue but I cannot scroll at all on this size, no vertical scroll bar and the usual fix (selecting text in the article to force it to scroll does not work either). Am on 2.30.0, on OS X 10.9.5.

I'm seeing laggy scrolling on a number of sites. Especially now on Android 5.0.2 Firefox seems out of place when the rest of the platform and browsers scroll smoothly.

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=716776
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=933515

I have tried changing values for ui.scrolling.friction_slow and ui.scrolling.friction_fast but it didn't really help. Are you aware of any other about:config prefs that can be changed?

The main issue seems to be with the way scrolling decays which is not smooth but quite jerky.

Thanks

URLs?

Most likely this is because we are doing synchronous scrolling on these pages because it is a subframe and not the root-level page that is scrolling. Bug 776030 will address that issue.
Hi, I've filled bugs for the URLs where I've encountered issues.
I'll follow progress on https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=776030

Thanks
The URL in comment 0 is smooth now in Nightly with C++ APZ. Marking this bug dependent on APZ riding the trains, so that we can set the right target milestone when it ships.
Depends on: fennec-aboard-apz
No longer depends on: apz-fennec
These pages all seem to scroll well in 48 with APZ.
