Details

These add-ons use randomly-generated IDs, and names with random permutations of capitalization. We'll need to block by name, case-insensitively, *without* anchoring:

/search-newtab/

or, possibly, /^s?search-newtab.?$/

Users affected by these extensions number in the thousands, and it seems to be associated with searches being hijacked by an engine called 'WebSearch'
