Lightning 3.3b2 and Thunderbird 31.0b2 on Windows 8.1 64 bit The 'today' button (circle) in the Today pane has an artefact or something overlapping on the right side, see attached screenshot.
I don't see this on Win7 and Win8. Please can you check with DOMi if a additional image (maybe as background-image) is loaded on button or toolbarbutton-icon? Is this with a clean profile?
Happens in new profile, #today-button has no background profile. If I remove all elements from modebox > stack > hbox except the ones containing #dateContainer and #today-button and then delete #dateContainer, the issue will go away (in fact, the today-button will be slightly cut off on the right side).
You state this is a regression. Are you able to identify the regression range?

There have been no other reports and the code changed since the report has been filed. Feel free to open a new bug report if you find a similar issue with a recent Thunderbird version. Resolving as WORKSFORME.
